一路往左走，我们来到一个展示厅，这里展示了大量珍贵的革命文物。正当我们一脸疑惑时，讲解员走了过来，他好像看穿了我们脸上的疑惑，开始为我们讲解建阳的革命历史。闽北最初由野战二队4兵团15军和5兵团17军解放，后来，长江支队来到了这里，四百多万的红军和百姓们开始在闽北地区生活和发展。展出的文物中还有童子军的奖状和立功的功劳证，有红军战士的衣服和使用过的杯子，还有战士的慰问袋等生活用品。讲解员告诉我们慰问袋的作用，如果家中有人上了战场，亲人可以将他的物品放在慰问袋中常伴他的身边。讲解员还为我们介绍了福建的第一条铁路——鹰厦铁路，连接江西省和福建省。
