走进坊茨小镇，看到一幢幢平房，在村落中整齐的排列看，黄色的墙面，红色的三角形屋顶，屋顶上开有天窗，还有方形的烟囱。房前屋后种满了花草树木，生机勃勃。看着这些充满异域风情的房屋，我们可以想象当时小镇的繁华。

小镇的广场上有一处宣传墙，上面详细介绍了小镇的历史，我从中知道了很多。1902年德国人在坊子修铁路、作文建车站、挖煤矿、办公司……将坊子旧城打造成了别具欧州风情的工业小镇。1919年一战结束后，德国人撤出，日本人又接管了这里，直至新中国成立。他们对小镇占据了五十年之久，其中德国占据了17年，开釆煤炭229万吨，日本占据了31年，开釆煤炭442万吨。看着这一串串数字，让我非常痛心，感受到了当时德国、日本的强大，也感受到了当时我们国家的弱小，明白了“落后就要挨打”的道理。
